What is next for you?
A question we hear so often.
Typically in the midst of an accomplishment.
We haven’t even had time to process what’s happening now and we’re already being asked to have something planned for the future.
We are so conditioned for more, more, more.
We are taught to constantly be working that we don’t even enjoy the present moment.
We accomplish something and instead of basking in its fruit we are searching for more fruit.
The funny thing is we might not even see tomorrow yet we’re worried about what we will do then. I’m not saying we can’t make plans for the future I’m just saying what’s now is more important than what’s next.
Enjoy what God has given you in this moment. Feel the magnificent gifts he has bestowed upon you and be grateful for them.
A good reminder is Romans 12:2 : “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
We have been conditioned to please the world but the beautiful thing is we have the choice to renew our minds. So I challenge you to start asking:
“What is NOW for you instead of What is NEXT for you?
The next may never happen but the now is right here in this moment.
Love and light to all ✨ 🌻
May Gods Favor be upon you! May he bless you, your family, and generations to come 🙏🏽
I love your thoughts on this. Sometimes I feel like I never had time to think about tomorrow and maybe that’s good. I agree, enjoy the blessings for today. Look for them. Love ya Mel, enjoy the moment.😁❤️🙏
